Coco is Anna's daughter from our "C" litter. We raised, hunted, and tested her until she was 2 years old, and then she went to her new home and adventure in Utah. Under her owner, she matured into an outstanding hunting companion. She achieved a Prize 1 in her Derby/Solms with perfect scores at 18 months old, and passed her VGP at just 3 1/2 years old. In the field, Coco moved fast and with purpose, and had excellent use of her nose. She was acutely aware of her surroundings, confidently letting her nose direct and using her eyes to search for the next objective. Coco had great passion in the water. She was a relentless retriever like her mother and loved to retrieve game. She was a joy to train and was a perfect balance of hardness, intelligence, and desire. In the home, Coco was very affectionate. She had the much desired "switch:" passion in the field and water, yet calm in the home. She left this earth much too soon, but lived a huge life, hunting more birds than most dogs could ever dream to.
